The Awesome Dawgs Dog Park is a privately owned, operated and managed canine training facility.

The purpose of this facility is for teaching and maintaining safe and appropriate social interaction of canines while in an open and spacious setting.

How do I sign up?
You’ll need the following on file to play in the park:

WEEKDAYS – MONDAY THRU FRIDAY

  • 12:00-6:00PM – Private Play in 1/2 hour intervals

All Monday-Friday time slots between 12-6:00PM will be available for Private Play in half hour intervals. A client may book 2 back to back time slots for a maximum of one hour of private play if available. If a client’s dog has a friend that he or she plays with regularly, they may play together in private play. No more than 2 dogs per handler in private play.

  • 8:00 – 9:00AM – Open
  • 9-9:30AM – Private
  • 9:30 – 10:30AM – Open (Saturday) | Puppy Play (Sunday)
  • 10:30-11AM – Private
  • 11AM – 12PM – Open
  • 12-12:30PM – Private
  • 12:30 – 1:30PM – Open
  • 1:30PM – Private
  • 2-3PM – Open (Gentle)*
  • 3-5PM – Private in 1/2 hour intervals

Weekend schedule offers Open Play from 8:00-9:00 AM, 9:30-10:30 AM (with the exception of Sunday morning Puppy Play), 12:30-1:30PM, and Gentle Play from 2-3 PM. Open play times and Gentle dog Play times limited to 7 dogs in each of the play sessions.

All other time are available for Private Play is available in 30 minute increments as described above.

*PLEASE NOTE: The 2pm play times Saturday and  Sunday are open play but reserved for timid players, dogs that are new to off leash play, or dog evaluations. We request that no rough players attend during this session so we can nurture calm play for our newbies and those that do not like crazy play, thanks!

RATES

Open & Gentle Play Rate: $10 per dog per hour.

Private Play Rate: –  $5 per dog for 30 minutes, $10 per dog for a maximum of 1 hour. Any new players coming for private play will need to complete a registration form, release of liability and provide proof of vaccinations, but do not require evaluations.

PLAY EVALUATIONS

With the exception of private play, all dogs must be evaluated before Park Play to determine your dog’s color code, based on play style, sociability, and temperament.

  2. Evaluations are only held on Saturdays and Sundays
  3. We will help you select a time that would serve you dog best. We have different levels of play to accommodate various play styles
  4. Evaluations are free of charge
  5. Please be on time for your session and check in at The Dawg Store (through glass door) when you arrive
  6. Remember to bring current proof of vaccinations (rabies, distemper series, and Bordetella) for your dog
  7. Awesome Dawgs may cancel your evaluation appointment in the event of inclement weather or if there are too few dogs attending during your scheduled visit.

PARK GUIDELINES

  • Handlers must clean up after their dog.
  • Park players must check in at the front desk before entering the park.
  • The following items are not permitted: glass containers, alcohol, people & dog food/treats, children under 12, firearms, weapons, smoking, bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, cell phone use (calls, texting, etc.)
  • Dogs over the age of 6 months must be spayed or neutered, unless you have a private reservation.
  • One dog per person during Open and Pack Play sessions.
  • Dog handler must be 18 years or older.
  • All park visitors must be registered, paid and fully vaccinated in order to enter the park.
  • All gates must remain securely closed.
  • Dogs that are in the play space may not be on leash, wearing harnesses or other training devices.
  • Dogs must be 4 months of age or older to be in outdoor park.
  • Handlers must refrain from running.
  • Handlers must have their dogs in sight and be attentive to their dog’s interactions at all times.
  • No human or animal aggressive dogs are permitted.
  • Awesome Dawgs reserves the right to prohibit or remove any dog at any time at their discretion.
  • No females in heat permitted in the park at any time.
